Forme reformers are designed by experts with meticulous attention to detail. We’ve used the best parts we could find, spent hundreds of hours designing and testing, and had our own instructors put them through their paces - so you can be sure you’re getting the best of the best! All three reformers are 2.4 metres long. The Rio is 60cm wide and sits between 31-37cm off the ground. The Osaka is slightly wider at 63cm and stands 39cm high, while the Monaco is the widest at 68cm, also sitting 39cm off the ground.

The Rio is foldable, so it’s perfect if you’re tight on space - you can easily store it away when not in use. The Osaka and Monaco are functionally the same but the difference is the frame - The Osaka is made from sleek aluminum, and The Monaco is a classic Maple wooden frame.

If you take good care of your reformer, maintenance is pretty simple! After each use, just give it a quick wipe down - water with a little dish soap works perfectly, or you can use natural cleaning products. Once a month, we recommend checking that everything is nice and tight, and make sure there’s no dust or dirt in the tracks, wheels, or those hard-to-reach spots. That’s it - simple upkeep to keep it running smoothly!

It really depends on what you’re after! The aluminum frame is lighter and easier to move around, plus it gives a sleek, modern look. The maple wood frame is a bit heavier and more substantial, perfect if you prefer a warmer, natural aesthetic.

Assembly is quick and easy - each reformer takes no more than 10 minutes to finish once it arrives. We also provide a simple assembly video you can follow along with, so you’ll be set up and ready to go in no time!

We’ve got a few ways to get your reformer to you. You can pick it up from your local Forme depot (any Alpine Warehouses) for free, or - choose depot delivery (delivered to your nearest Mainfreight depot in NZ) or - delivery to your door (for a fee).

You’ll get everything you need to get started on your Forme journey! Each reformer comes with a Pilates box, jumpboard, dowel, and a Forme-branded accessories pack - including a Pilates ring, ball, resistance band, a pair of grip socks, and a set of handweights.

For home & commercial use, the Osaka and Monaco come with 5 years on the frame, 2 years on components, and 1 year on upholstery. The Rio has 3 years on the frame, with the same coverage for components and upholstery. And don’t worry - we always look after our customers. Rio is 100kg and the Osaka and Monaco reformers have a maximum recommended weight limit of 150kg, so you can feel confident knowing they’re strong, stable, and designed to be supportive for a wide range of users for home or for your studio.

Spring levels allow you to adjust how much resistance the springs provide during your workout. Lower settings create lighter resistance, while higher settings increase the tension. The Osaka and Rio offer two spring resistance levels, while the Monaco features three levels, giving you an extra option to fine-tune the feel of the carriage and progress your workouts as you get stronger.

Yes - our reformers can be used on both carpet and hard flooring. The wheels and base are designed to be stable and secure across most surfaces.

Not at all. Standard ceiling heights are perfectly fine for most exercises. The only movements that require extra height are standing exercises if you have hands overhead, which are optional in most classes.

We recommend keeping your reformer indoors in a dry environment to protect the springs, upholstery, and moving parts. If you store it in a garage, just ensure it’s kept away from moisture and dust.

Most people start noticing improvements in strength, posture, and flexibility after 2–3 sessions per week. Consistency is key, and even shorter sessions can make a big difference over time.

The Osaka’s wheels are built into the tracks, so you can easily stand it up on one end. Just tilt it upright and lean it onto its footbar - perfect if you’ve got the height and want to free up some space in your home or studio!

Our springs come in three colours: red for heavy, green for medium, and yellow for light. Each reformer includes 2 heavy, 2 medium, and 1 light spring. The Rio & Osaka reformers have 2 spring levels, while the Monaco has 3, giving you plenty of options to adjust and progress your workouts!

You’ll usually know when your springs need replacing! Keep an eye out for rust, unusual kinks (like if someone accidentally stands on them), or strange noises during your workout. They’re easy to swap out. As a general guideline, if you take good care of your reformer, home use springs last around 5 years, and for commercial use, every 2-3 years is typical.

Yes! Our jumpboards are specially designed with steel poles on the back, so once you insert and tighten it, you’ll have a rock-solid platform for your jumps. No need to lean on the footbar for extra support, it’s completely stable on its own!

Yes! Each of our reformers has wheels at the footbar end, so you can easily lift and roll it wherever you need to. Moving your reformer around is quick and hassle-free!

You’ll want enough space around your reformer to fit a Pilates box on either side, plus roughly a Pilates box width at each end. The more space you have, the better - but that’s a good minimum to work with for comfortable movement.
